Acceptable Use Policy — Launchr
1. POLICY OVERVIEW
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable and prohibited uses of Launchr platform. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1A. AN AGENT-DRIVEN COMPANY
Launchr is an Agent-driven company. Our Agents — artificial intelligence (AI) systems — perform much of the work of operating the Platform, including monitoring for and responding to violations of this AUP, with human verification layered over Agent decisions. AI systems can make mistakes: if you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, contact appeals@launchr.bot and a human will review it. Launchr's liability in connection with the Platform is governed by sections 10 and 11 of the Terms of Service, including the Australian Consumer Law carve-out in section 10.1.
2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
2.1 Lawful Use
You must use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Australian Commonwealth, State, and Territory laws
- Laws of your jurisdiction (if outside Australia)
- Industry-specific regulations
2.2 Respect for Others
You must respect the rights and dignity of others, including:
- Privacy rights of individuals
- Intellectual property rights
- Rights to freedom from harassment
2.3 Platform Integrity
You must not compromise the security, stability, or performance of the Platform.
3. PROHIBITED CONTENT
3.1 Illegal Content
You must not use the Platform to create, store, or transmit content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Promotes illegal activities
- Constitutes fraud or deception
- Facilitates money laundering or terrorist financing
3.2 Harmful Content
You must not use the Platform to create, store, or transmit content that:
- Harasses, abuses, or threatens others
- Promotes violence or hatred
- Discriminates based on race, religion, gender, etc.
- Constitutes bullying or intimidation
3.3 Offensive Content
You must not use the Platform to create, store, or transmit content that:
- Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
- Is excessively violent or graphic
- Is defamatory or libellous
- Invades privacy without consent
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
You must not use the Platform to create, store, or transmit content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, or patent rights
- Misappropriates trade secrets
- Violates confidentiality obligations
- Plagiarises others' work
3.5 Malicious Content
You must not use the Platform to create, store, or transmit content that:
- Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Is designed to damage or disrupt systems
- Facilitates unauthorised access to systems
- Contains phishing or social engineering attempts
4. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
4.1 Security Violations
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform
- Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
- Interfere with security measures
- Circumvent authentication or access controls
- Use another user's account without permission
4.2 System Abuse
You must not:
- Overload or disrupt the Platform
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks
- Use excessive resources that impact other users
- Automate usage beyond reasonable limits
- Scrape or crawl the Platform without permission
4.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
You must not use the Platform to:
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages
- Harvest email addresses or contact information
- Engage in phishing or fraudulent communications
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
4.4 Fraud and Deception
You must not use the Platform to:
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Misrepresent products or services
- Create fake reviews or testimonials
- Impersonate individuals or organisations
- Engage in deceptive marketing practices
4.5 High-Risk Activities
You must not use the Platform for:
- Medical advice or diagnosis (without proper qualifications)
- Financial advice (without AFSL)
- Legal advice (without legal qualifications)
- Activities requiring specific licenses or certifications
- Handling of sensitive personal data without proper safeguards
5. BUSINESS-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
5.1 Prohibited Business Types
The Platform must not be used for businesses involving:
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons or ammunition
- Adult content involving minors
- Hate groups or extremist organisations
- Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
- Online gambling or betting (prohibited regardless of licensing status). Venue-based gambling businesses licensed under applicable Australian state/territory legislation require prior written approval from Launchr before using the Platform — contact compliance@launchr.bot to request assessment.
- Unregulated financial services
5.2 High-Risk Business Considerations
For businesses in regulated industries, you must:
- Obtain and maintain required licenses
- Comply with industry-specific regulations
- Implement appropriate safeguards
- Disclose risks to customers
6. DATA PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS
6.1 Personal Information
When handling personal information, you must:
- Comply with the Australian Privacy Act and APPs
- Obtain proper consent for data collection
- Implement appropriate security measures
- Respect individuals' privacy rights
- Delete data when no longer needed
6.2 Sensitive Information
Special care must be taken with:
- Health information
- Financial information
- Government identifiers (TFN, passport numbers)
- Racial or ethnic origin information
- Political or religious beliefs
6.3 Children's Data
If collecting data from children, you must:
- Obtain parental consent where required
- Implement additional safeguards
- Comply with children's privacy laws
- Avoid collecting unnecessary data
7. PLATFORM-SPECIFIC RULES
7.1 Multi-Tenant Architecture
- Respect data isolation between businesses
- Do not attempt to access other businesses' data
- Use business_id isolation as intended
7.2 Integration Usage
When using Platform integrations:
- Comply with third-party terms of service
- Do not abuse integration APIs
- Respect rate limits and usage policies
- Monitor integration usage for compliance
7.3 Automation Features
When using automation features:
- Ensure automation complies with laws
- Do not create spam or harassment automation
- Monitor automation for unintended consequences
- Respect recipient preferences (opt-out, etc.)
8. MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT
8.1 Our Monitoring Rights
We may monitor Platform usage to:
- Ensure compliance with this AUP
- Maintain Platform security and performance
- Investigate suspected violations
- Comply with legal obligations
8.2 Reporting Violations
To report AUP violations:

- We will investigate and respond
8.3 Enforcement Actions
For violations, we may:
- Issue warnings
- Suspend specific features
- Suspend your account
- Terminate your account
- Report to authorities
8.4 Appeal Process
If you believe enforcement was incorrect:

- Include evidence and explanation
- We will review within 30 days
9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
9.1 User Management
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your users comply with this AUP
- Monitoring your account for violations
- Taking action on violations by your users
- Maintaining appropriate access controls
9.2 Compliance Monitoring
You should:
- Regularly review your use of the Platform
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Update practices as laws change
- Seek legal advice when uncertain
9.3 Incident Response
If you discover AUP violations:
- Take immediate corrective action
- Report to us if Platform-wide issue
- Cooperate with our investigation
- Implement preventive measures
10. POLICY UPDATES
10.1 Update Process
We may update this AUP to:
- Reflect legal or regulatory changes
- Address new types of misuse
- Improve clarity or completeness
10.2 Notification
Material changes will be:
- Posted on our website
- Emailed to account administrators
- Effective 30 days after notification
10.3 Continued Use
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

This AUP is governed by Australian law, including:
